- Minutes – September 2024 Annual Meeting
The vote to accept the minutes of the September, 2024 Annual Meeting will be taken at the March 3, 2025 meeting.

Treasurer – (Aaron Barnholt)
As of 1/20/2035, dues income has amounted to $16,019 and interest income from a CD is $876.87, totaling $16,895.87 for a budget of $20,015. There are 23 units with outstanding balances. As of 1/20/2025 – Checking: $15,400, Savings $7,700, CD $41,300, Total $64,400.

Architectural Control – Brian Lane (excused)
Concerns: The owner of the rental properties of 6306, 6315 Post Brook was sent a letter regarding noncompliance of Wedgewood Place Protective Covenant Article VI, Section 10: Garbage and recycling may not be placed at the curb before noon the day prior to, and must be removed by 9 pm the day of collection in accordance to city code. Said neighbors often leave trash bins at the end of their driveways and/or in front of the front doors visible from the street.
Architectural guidelines
New copies of the Wedgewood Place Community Association Architectural Guidelines and Resident Information will become available for distribution by the next board meeting. It was suggested that every neighbor be mailed a copy. These guidelines, along with the City of Fort Wayne Residential Improvement Process will be mailed to homeowners. The city improvement page is displayed in the County Recorder’s Office. The neighborhood covenants is displayed through the Wedgewood Place Association web page.
Parks and Recreation – Jo Massaro
Grant – Jo will be meeting with a representative from the city to discuss a grant which allows us to display decorative banners or placards on our street poles. It was suggested that something with a W or WP in wedge wood blue be considered.
Red covering for the playground structure will be ordered for the Spring.
Mulch, the same as what is being used under and around the merry-go-round, to be purchased for the swing-set area.

Welcome Committee
Property – Mike Gerbers
Contracts for snow removal and lawn maintenance – Both have been contacted.
Playground lamp post light – Flickering bulb, mostly in extreme cold weather.
Front entrance Spring plants / shrubs – Jo would like to meet with Michelle Smith and Karen McKlintock regarding ideas for plantings. Two Summers ago Karen submitted suggestions which we still have on file.

Fall OktoberFest / Christmas Caroling – 2025 dates to be announced.
- New Business
Garage sale feasibility – Possibly to be scheduled in April or May in conjunction with Valencia or Jonathan Oaks.
Jeff Nowack suggested that we have a recycling bin again. Further discussion for the March meeting.
Forti-fy Neighborhood Accelerator – We will resubmit an application for this program. City representatives would assist us in developing plans for our neighborhood improvement and branding. We discussed topics like what makes Wedgewood special and how to increase awareness of our activities for all 161 units.
