Meeting Minutes September 9th, 2024

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:02pm by President Dave Koenig those in attendance included:

Welcome and Opening Remarks – Dave Koenig made opening remarks outlining last year’s achievements and agenda for this meeting.

Minutes – The minutes from the previous meeting were read by David Koenig. The Minutes were voted and approved by the voting members in attendance.

Special Guest – Attorney Michael Hawk. Introduced himself. Discussed services he has provided in the past and for other Associations. Also provided examples of when legal help was needed by associations. Answered questions.

Officer’s Reports
President’s Report: No Update.

Treasurer’s Report: Went over last years expenditures and proposed budget for 2024-2025. Proposed Budget was approved by the voting members in attendance.

Committee Reports
Architectural Control: President reported that new applications have been coming in and emphasized the importance of issuing the proper paperwork.

Playground: Noticed more activity, likely from other associations. Spoke on the installment of the new merry go round.

Welcome Committee: No Update.

Landscape Committee: No update.

Communications: Jason Hollinger delivered the Pass Codes for the Facebook Group. Get new requests every few weeks or so.

Finance: Gave update on the low number of delinquencies.

Old Business – Jason Hollinger proposed By-Laws update in relation to electing/appointing board members. The amendments were approved as presented with no objections.

New Business:

Board and Officers Election
All incumbent Board Members were renominated. In addition, Jeff Nowak nominated for a Board Member as well. David Koenig nominated for President. Jason Hollinger nominated for Secretary and Vice-President. Aaron Barnholt nominated for Treasurer. No objections to nominations and no objections to nominees being elected to a 1 year term.

Unwanted Solicitations
Tiffany Hamilton brought up if we can take steps to stop solicitation? Discussed. We are looking into getting signs for the front and rear entrance.

Speeding through Association
Tiffany Hamilton brought up speed limits. Talked about the possibility of speed bumps at certain areas. Will talk again next meeting.

Trash cans in street
Brian Lane brought up trash cans in the street left by waste management. Brian will continue contacting the city.

Replacing Mailboxes
Dawn Fiore brought up replacing the mailboxes in the Association. It was discussed that the Association can’t replace them. Will talk again next meeting.
